Live pulse, captured — photo + video coverage for Mass Poetry’s Teen Art Festival.

Over two days on Emerson college’s Boston campus, I provided run-and-gun photo and video coverage of Mass Poetry’s Teen Art Festival, focusing on the semifinals and finals of the poetry slam. With campus credentials for venue access, I documented candid moments, live performances, and audience reactions—delivering assets that fuel promotion, fundraising, and future festival growth.

What we focused on

  • Performance-first coverage: Clear audio capture and dynamic camera work to preserve the power of each poem.

  • Candid storytelling: Backstage prep, competitors’ emotion, audience response, and community moments that show the festival’s impact.

  • Quick turnaround for outreach: Fast processing and delivery so organizers can use content during and immediately after the event.

  • Budget-smart solutions: Scaled coverage and deliverable bundles designed to stretch nonprofit resources without sacrificing quality.
